FAQ

Below is a list of frequently asked questions about illegal content on the Internet. If you are unsure whether the content you have found should be reported and where, this information is for you.

What to report?

  • Web pages with inappropriate or illegal content with children

We focus primarily on:

    • materials depicting child abuse
    • inappropriate child nudity
    • signs of cyber grooming
    • distribution of child pornography

If you are unsure whether it is appropriate to report content, it is always better to do so.

Remember that behind every piece of content on the Internet relating to child abuse there are real victims, and that one report from you could help end a child's endless suffering.

  • Cyber threats and attacks

Unauthorized use of personal or sensitive information, fraud, or distribution of information without consent.

You can also report fake websites or unauthorized access to your account.

If the reported content directly concerns you or someone close to you, it is necessary to describe how you feel harmed by the published content, e.g., the content damages your honor, dignity, right to privacy, causes you to fear for your life, hinders you in performing your job, and so on. Reported photos without further specification that clearly do not violate the law are automatically evaluated as content that is neither inappropriate nor illegal.
